The MMI display switches on automatically when the MMI system is switched on. The MMI display switches off again automatically when the MMI and the ignition are switched off.
The MMI display can be switched on and off manually by pressing the button Fig. 1.
Note
  • If the MMI display has been switched off, it will be switched on automatically for the duration of a phone call (on vehicles with a car telephone kit* or phone pre-installation*).
  • After the display has been switched off, you can still change the station on a selected audio/video source using the arrow buttons on the MMI control console.
