You can manually import the entries from the phone book of a mobile phone or a SIM card.
Important: The directory must be open Link and the phone pre-installation Link or the car telephone kit Link must be activated.
Press the Memory control button.
Turn the rotary pushbutton to select Import phone book and press to confirm. The phone book on the SIM card and/or the connected mobile phone will be imported.
If you have not yet created a personal profile Link, the phone book will be imported into the general profile. When connecting a mobile phone or inserting a SIM card, the existing entries in the directory will be overwritten with the entries of the connected mobile phone or the SIM card. You can import up to 2000 entries into the general profile.
Note
- The directory entries of the current profile are updated automatically when a mobile phone is connected or a SIM card is inserted.
- SIM card entries only contain a name and a telephone number.
