Audi Q7   Controls   Heating and cooling  Air conditioner
The basic settings for the air conditioner can be adjusted via the MMI.
Select: Function selector button CAR > control button AC.
Automatic air recirculation
Air recirculation is controlled automatically when this function is activated. If the windows mist up, press the button.
Synchronisation
When synchronisation is activated, all the driver's settings (with the exception of seat heating/ventilation*) are applied to the front passenger's seat or vice-versa. If your vehicle is equipped with a 4-zone deluxe automatic air conditioner* the settings for the rear cabin* are also synchronised. The synchronisation is deactivated as soon as any adjustments are made on the driver's/front passenger's side or in the rear*.
The settings can also be synchronised by pressing and holding one of the rotary controls. For example, if you press and hold the rotary control on the front passenger's side, the settings on the driver's side are matched to the settings on the passenger's side. The same applies to the rear* cabin. On the 4-zone deluxe automatic air conditioner*, the temperature on the passenger's side can be set to the temperature of the driver's side by keeping the rotary controls on the driver's side AND the front passenger's side pressed for several seconds.
Supplementary heater*
The interior of a diesel vehicle warms up more quickly when the supplementary heater is switched on.
Rear operation*
When the "rear controls" function is active, the driver or the front passenger can operate the air conditioning for the rear passengers from the front control console.
