Applies to vehicles: with a third row of seats
The red button releases the belt from the buckle.
Press the red button in the belt buckle Fig. 1 -1-. The latch plate is released and springs out.
If you need to release the other latch plate, insert the ignition key into the slot of the belt buckle -2-. The latch plate is released and springs out.
Guide the belt back by hand so that it rolls easily onto the retractor without damaging the trim.
Insert the two latch plates back into the holder.
The large latch plate can be removed from the belt buckle -2- using the ignition key or a screwdriver. You can normally leave the large latch plate in the belt buckle while driving so that you only have to insert the small latch plate in the belt buckle -1- when wearing the seat belt.
If you want to use the luggage compartment without any seat belts, you can release the large latch plate from the belt buckle -2- and retract the belt completely.
