- Use a small brush to remove snow and a solvent-free de-icer spray to remove ice.
- Clean the sensors (for the adaptive cruise control* and/or parking aid*) with a solvent-free cleaning agent and a soft, dry cloth.
- The camera lens and the area in front of the lens is normally cleaned by the windscreen wipers (active lane assist*) or headlight washer system (night vision assist*). If the area is heavily soiled, you can clean it with glass cleaning agent and a soft, dry cloth.

If you wash your vehicle with a high-pressure cleaner:
- Do not hold the nozzle too close to the sensors in the front and/or rear bumper.
- Do not clean the camera lenses and surrounding areas with the high-pressure cleaner.
- Never remove snow and ice from the camera lens using warm or hot water - danger of cracks appearing on the lens.
- Never use abrasive cleaning agents on the camera lens.
